The village of Evreti overlooks the tiny island of Asteris in the Ithaca channel.
From high up in Evreti you can see the neighbouring island of Ithaca.

About five minutes drive north of the village of Evreti brings you to the pretty, deep bay of Foki which has a taverna open in high season.
About ten mins drive brings you to the village of Fiscardo with good choice of tavernas, bars, restaurants and shops.
The village of Manganos is slightly nearer than Fiscardo for alternative evening meals and local grocery store and the village of Vassilikades is to the south of Evreti which takes about ten minutes to drive and has a health centre and chemest as well as choice of places to eat.
