SARLATA

Sarlata has all the rural unspoilt ambience which is so attractive in the villages of the Livatho region and is a good base from which to visit the rest of Kefalonia. It is a pretty, simple village set on a hillside with wonderful views across the countryside and out to sea. Ten minutes drive either way will bring you to some lovely unspoilt sandy beaches at Avithos or the golden sandy stretches at Lassi. The village is a simple Greek village with a local shop and a church with a few tavernas nearby.
