Cephalonia Connections is a holiday advisory service based on the island, working in association with selected specialist British tour operators as well as Greek licensed agencies and local property owners. Managed by Francesca Roe who acts as a personal travel advisor.
My connection with Greece started in Athens in the late 1970s. I was Overseas Manager for Sunmed in Greece in the 1980s and after working for Inspirations and First Choice in the UK, I moved to Cephalonia in 1991 where I started a handling agency and, for 14 years, handled the incoming tourism for several tour operators until Tapestry Holidays went into liquidation in 2006 leaving some large unpaid bills. With the motto of 'don't get mad, get a job' I started Cephalonia Connections!
Working with specialist tour operators, I have learned the importance of dealing with guests as individuals, whose requirements and expectations vary. With my experience and dedication, I endeavour to blend the tour operators' arrangements with your personal requirements. With the help of today's technology, I can respond specifically to your requests and ensure your voice is not lost in cyber-space!
