The sea food selection is impressive with choice of prawns, octopus, squid, anchovies, sardines, whitebait, red mullet, sea bream, mackerel, sword fish, red snapper or 'fish catch of the day'. If you are unsure which to chose then order the Fishermen's Platter with enough for two people. This is centred around a large grilled sea bream or bass surrounded by large prawns and a variety of small deep fried fish and kalamari set on a bed of salad.

For vegetarians there are plenty of dishes prepared from home-grown produce such as courgette balls, aubergines imam, fried peppers with cheese, strapatsada (tomato egg and cheese dish), tiroboukies (cheese balls) and do try the vegetarian mousaka. Traditional Greek vegetarian dishes include stuffed tomatoes and briam (baked vegetable dish).
Kefalonian specialities include local meat pie, rabbit stew, cockerel in wine and codfish with garlic and potatoe sauce.
Traditional Greek cuisine includes roast chicken in lemon sauce, beef giouvetsi, stifado and meatballs in tomatoe sauce.
From the grill there are pork and beef steaks, pork, beef and chicken fillets as well as grilled sausages, spare ribs and chicken souvlaki
If your children just want a hamburger, spaghetti and chips - these are also on the menu!
(Real chips here - not the frozen variety)
The taverna offers a selection of local wines as well as their own chilled house wine which is a light slightly dry tsaousi and robolla mix.
