On the road into Spartia village you will find more choice of tavernas and the village of Spartia itself is less than 2 kms away where you will find more restaurants and mini-markets.

Spartia itself is a pretty traditional Greek village just 5 kms from the airport. For those who like walking, a hire car is not essential but useful for exploring the local places of interest such as St George's castle and nearby beaches.
