From the road the Trizoni looks like a simple stone cottage, blending into its local surroundings in Halikeri village. So it is a revalation to walk inside and discover that the rooms have been decorated with a mix of the traditional and the very modern without being out of place with the location.
Minimalist style
At first glance the kitchen looks quite basic, but a closer inspection reveals a high quality finish with very modern appliances. The kitchen opens into the huge sitting/dining room with comfortable sofas and a big dining table.
Trizoni villa sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Two air-conditioned bedroooms are upstairs, with high ceilings, open wooden beams and lovely en suite shoer rooms. The third bedroom, which is also en suite and air-conditioned, is in a separate annexe, built to complement the rest of the property.
Tassos's vision
Tassos owns both Villa Trizoni and Villa Salamantra, its neighbouring villa. After renovating the beautiful villa next door Tassos turned his attention to the Trizoni where he decided he wanted to build a pool that blended in with the environment rather than dominating it. Tassos persevered until he created a very attractive, very long pool which is strangely dark in colour so that your eye is drawn to the glorious view rather than seeing the swimming pool. The same original thought has been applied throughout to create a property with a minimilist style without ostentation and with comfort in mind.
