G G Garbis Fine Greek Jewellery
A well established name on Kefalonia , G G Garbis choose fine stones and precious metals to design and make traditional and contemporary jewellery. A full collection of the jewellery used in the film Captain Corellis Mandolin is on display at the GG Garbis shop on the sea front at Argostoli. Taking the symbol of the film, the mandolin, they have created a replica in 14k yellow and white gold of the mandolin played by Nicolas Cage in the film and this is presented on a gold chain in a red leather case. Expect to pay around 210 euro for the mandolin and 16 inch chain. Their Olive Branch hand made collection of jewellery in gold and silver is set with diamonds or c. zirconia to commemorate the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. All feature the olive branch design symbolising life and peace.
